Supporting Industry Dialogue on Biomass, Bioenergy and Decarbonisation in Asia

The Global Centre for Green Fuels (GCGF) is pleased to support two upcoming industry events organised by the Centre for Management Technology (CMT), each addressing a different piece of the region's energy transition — from feedstock and biomass supply through to decarbonisation strategy and deployment.
10th Biomass & BioEnergy Asia 2026
17–19 November 2026 | Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Now in its milestone 10th edition, this year's summit carries the theme, "From Origin to Offtake — Turning Southeast Asia's Biomass Endowment into Fuels, Biocarbon & Local Energy".
It brings together producers, traders and buyers for price intelligence, contract insights, project case studies and direct buyer-seller exchanges across the region's biomass value chain — covering feedstocks from wood pellets and palm kernel shells to rice husk, bagasse and coconut shell.
Discussions will address what it takes to meet the quality standards premium markets demand, how to weigh domestic energy use against export opportunities, and which feedstocks are ready for biochar and biocarbon production.

Where Biomass & BioEnergy Asia focuses on feedstock supply and market fundamentals, DeCarbon Tokyo looks at how that supply translates into action.
The conference gathers global policymakers, investors and industry leaders around Japan's evolving carbon transition, structured across three themes:
Reduce - industrial decarbonisation, GX-ETS compliance, CCS/carbon management infrastructure and data centre decarbonisation;
Regulate - carbon pricing, compliance frameworks, GX-ETS corporate procurement, and Article 6/JCM regional mechanisms;
Remove - scaling durable and nature-based carbon dioxide removal, MRV integrity standards, and commercial deployment.
