For the second year running, GCGF participated in the Argus Biofuels Conference, held in Singapore from 13 – 16 April, contributing to discussions across both the biofuels and Green Marine segments.

The multi-day programme reflected a clear shift in how low-carbon fuels are being considered, with increasing convergence across land, maritime and aviation sectors. Bioethanol, in particular, is gaining traction as a scalable pathway within this broader transition, with growing attention on its role beyond traditional road transport applications.

GCGF’s engagement spanned sessions focused on market development, fuel pathways and maritime applications, where discussions highlighted key considerations for scaling biofuels, including supply availability, pricing dynamics and accessibility.

The Green Marine segment further underscored rising industry interest in alcohol-based fuels, including ethanol, as part of the maritime sector’s transition towards lower-carbon alternatives. Conversations pointed to increasing alignment across stakeholders on the need for practical, scalable solutions that can be deployed within existing and emerging fuel ecosystems.

GCGF’s participation reflects its continued role in supporting cross-sector dialogue and advancing evidence-based pathways for biofuels adoption across transport sectors.
